Windows Live Crashing my IE...

On one of my work PCs, I have IE defaulted to bring up Windows Live. Normally
it's a bit slow to load, of course, but it works fine. Today, it crashes IE.
None of the other web sites I visit have done that. I finally managed to start
up IE, hit the Stop button, and change the default page to something else. Not
sure what's going on, but it's not a happy browser. Maybe I should switch to
Firefox?

Hi Dana, I've had that same thing happen off and on...I also have my default
page set to my Live home page. I think it may have something to do with
intermittent updates because it has happened two or three times to me but then
it corrects itself. I've experienced the same thing occasionally on my Windows
Live Spaces page. I'm chalking it up to (beta) software growing pains. :) k

It certainly may be growing pains, but according to blog posts I've read, the
Live team isn't getting any funding and isn't getting anything done. Still, to
make HTML so poorly that it actually causes IE to abort is probably not that
easy to do.

Oddly, it seems to only happen on the one PC at work that IT controls, and that
machine is so locked down I can't install anything on it, so I don't think it's
anything I've done to it.

I did send them a notice of the problem but have no reply yet.

IE crashes for me when I go to Local.live.com
