I thought I'd start a thread so we could share links to video posts on MSN
Soapbox with each other. The software was released to public beta testing
yesterday.
If you post a video on MSN Soapbox that you'd like to share with the rest of us,
add it here!

I needed a video for my blog and a Vista Community column I'm doing.
Used Soapbox -

The concept: Mike R., Eric Cartman, and Alan Greenspan illustrate creative
destruction with NVIDIA cards.
I love jet-man:

You're joking, right?
Are you freakin' kiddin' me?
If my wife saw that video, my life insurance would be upped, and she'ld probably
petition that my license be taken away from me or something.
The only thing she trusts me with that is any fun are the jet skis. Even then,
she's looking at the family-type 4-seater!

A new version of MSN video has launched. http://next.video.msn.com, previously
(www.video.msn.com)
in my experience, this is so much better UI design than YouTube. You no need to
use scroll bar, the categories listed on top is very easy to navigate, I also
believe silverlight technology will be used soon instead of flash.
From soapbox blog
all the features applies to both services (http://next.video.msn.com and
http://soapbox.msn.com )
Some of the Upgraded Features:
- Scalable Page. Change the size of your browser and the thumbnails and page
will scale dynamically
- New Player with integrated Playlists and Progessive Download Indicators.
- Playlist Functionality. Each time you watch a video it is automatically added
to the playlist. The Playlist can also be shared.
- Improved Fullscreen Experience
- Video Gallery Sorts. Sort by Hour, Day etc.
- Updated Embedded Player with clean design and Playlist features
Some of the other highlights of Soapbox:
- Single Page browsing and viewing
- Upload Unlimited Video Lengths
- Simultaneously Upload and process Multiple Videos
- Persistent Upload and Process indicator
- Embed Player with Multiple Videos
- Soapbox Gadgets and Vista Sidebar Gadgets
- HighQuality Video Encoding
- Watch Videos Simultaneously with Friends using Messenger Activity Window
As usual MS, you have done big mistake,
Totally 4 urls, 3 brands(MSN video, Soapbox, and mixed brand: MSN+Soapbox). I am
really confused.
kind rgrds
