Just a little while ago, Microsoft announced that it will purchase Tellme
Networks, Inc., a voice services company that includes nationwide (U.S.)
directory assistance, enterprise customer service, and voice-enabled mobile
search.
Steve Ballmer is quoted in the Microsoft press release as saying the acquisition
will "enable us to deliver a new wave of products and revolutionize
human-computer interaction."
Where do you see this going? Anyone want to speculate?

I didn't realize that TellMe was the force behind FedEx's customer service. That
is some very fine software.
