GarageBand for Windows Vista

One of my biggest gripes about shareware for Windows has been a lack of a real
GarageBand competitor. I finally found something in Acoustica's Mixcraft - it
ROCKS!

Hi Jake,

Music is not my specialty, but there are some of those softwares around:

MAGIX Music Maker

something more at http://www.hlrnet.com/teacmusi.htm - a page I compiled for
students of mine.

Kind regards

Those are all good tools for what they do, but unlike GarageBand, you can't sit
down and crank out something resembling a song in a matter of minutes with any
of them. Part of the appeal of GarageBand is that you feel like you've succeeded
at something when using it because it's intuitive and simple for getting
results. Mixcraft matches this simplicity and ease of use. Nothing else on the
market for Windows has come close.

Hi Jake,

Thanks for the clarification. Very interesting - and something more that I have
to learn.

Kind regards
