I'm using the rest API to GetCategoryListings. This returns a 10007 error when
accessing http://rest.api.ebay.com/restapi but at least it is returning
something.
How can I use the Rest API for ebay UK? I have tried http://rest.api.ebay. |

Just managed to answer my own question. Clearly REST is not a suitable API for
what I am trying to achieve as the following explains:
[pre]Currently, only the GetSearchResults call is supported via REST.[/pre]
Taken from the REST API page:

Hi a.embleton,
I may have some good news for you - within the last month we have made
five new
API calls with REST support available, including GetItem and
GetCategories.
Take a look at the updated
REST
Documentation and see if this will meet your needs. These calls are
supported for ebay.co.uk.
Search our

Base and Tech
Soup forum for further technical answers on REST development.
I'll also look into getting our REST developer center updated with this news -
thanks for the heads up!
