A little while ago, the Windows Live Gallery team went live with their new site:
http://gallery.live.com. Here's the announcement message from the team:
Today we are launching the beta release of the new Windows Live Gallery site!
This new site is a one-stop shop for consumers to find all of the great Gadgets,
Messenger Activities & Bots, add-ins, and extensions to personalize Windows
Live services.

For even more details as well as a special exclusive sneak peak of another
Windows Live product, check out the video at http://www.on10.net.
Windows Live Gallery also offers developers the ability to showcase their
Windows Live add-ins to consumers in one place, quickly upload their latest
creations for others to see and get feedback from the community. Transition
details from Microsoft Gadgets to Windows Live Gallery are posted on the
Microsoft Gadgets site. Please submit your Gadgets, Messenger Activities &
Bots, and Search Macros to the Windows Live Gallery.

Looks great! I'm glad there's finally a centralized place for all of these
things. One thing that I think would be cool is if they could actually take
someone's live.com and when they install a gadget, the user could select which
tab it should go in from the start, rather than having to do that manually at
live.com.

That's a great idea--it would be good feedback for the Windows Live Gallery
team!
I tried adding a gadget to a specific tab by clicking the tab before I went to
the Windows Live Gallery, but it still added the gadget by default to the first
tab on my live.com page.
