Problem with Encarta Read Aloud Feature

I have been enjoying my MS Encarta for some time. What suits me most
is the read aloud. But with the most recent  versions of Encarta do
not have all the controls in the read aloud feature as it used to do
like the older versions. The controls on the speed, pitch, volume were
really useful for me. And possibility to make it start to read only
the texts selected is also a brilliant idea. To tell the truth I have
become too much addicted to this. I don't want to read anything using
my eyes. I have tried the taste of listening to all the text read out
aloud to me. As the nature of my job involves a lot of reading, I
would also like to use MS Encarta Read Aloud as a tool to read all my
academic text for me. I
I would like it to be able to start reading at any point I wish and
any amount of text, the entire page or just a line or the whole
document. I want to be able to control the other variables like speed,
pitch and volume as well.
I would like to whether it is possible with encarta software. And if
this is not, please kindly give me some advice on the available
