2008 premium file size?

2008 premium file size?

before one gives ms a credit card number, there's no
indication of download file size, nor is there a statement
that what one gets is a file that can be installed off line.
The webmaster should be replaced. :=)

Does anyone know the answers to these question?

It is a multi-part download of almost 3Gb.

Thanks, Jerry. Do you know if the 3GB file can be copied to
another computer and installed offline?

Multiple files - not file.

When the downloads are done, took me almost two hours on a high-speed
connection, they are then merged/combined to create the equivalent of what
would be on the Encarta DVD from which the install of Encarta is
accomplished.

Yes, the files can be moved/copied.
