Audio Extremly Slow

Audio Extremly Slow

I am using ConvertXToDVD as an converter and importing it to Encore, I am also
syncing audio in Premiere and importing it as a second audio. This worked fine
in 1.5 but now I have upgraded to 2.0 and the audio is acting very strange. The
original audio from the .vob file is going very slow like 10% off it's original
speed. And the second Audio is out of sync. It worked fine in 1.5 but now it's
like this. I like 2.0 very much, more than 1.5 so I want to use it but I can't
unless i solve this problem. What is it?

What kind of file are you converting FROM?

Gspot to find out what CODEC created a file

And, what parameters are you using for the file you convert TO?

I don't know ConvertXToDVD so have no idea of your workflow... but if you have a
DVD legal AVI file to give Encore, you don't need to convert, just let it use
the AVI file

original audio from the .vob file

Does indeed sound like a rip, and even worse could well be a standards
conversion.
This software (ConvertX) is cheap consumer grade conversion package, and if you
are changing from, say, NTSC to PAL, then this is the problem as the conversion
will cause issues with sync.
However, a 10% difference is implying the wrong sample rate somewhere, perhaps
at 44.1KHz in the original AVI file?
