I have an application that is cpu-bound in several operations. What's

Filemaker Pro Server has been multi-threaded for years. So if one
request is cpu bound, fm server should be able to service other
requests simultaneously, and a multiprocessor server *should* see some
utilisation in a multiuser environment.

If its cpu bound servicing one request / and with just a couple users
though I don't think you are going to see much improvement. If that's
the case, optimizing the database design is usually the better course
of action.

What sort of operations are killing the cpu?
