Isn't it possible in Bento to choose certain records by criteria (for
instance "all the records which contain the words New Orleans).  Then
to delete only those chosen records from a library?  I don't use
"collections".. This is so basic ... if Bento can't do this it should
not be on the market.

Just do a Search or Advanced Find, select the records returned and

Because Bento is not Filemaker.  Since Bento is available ONLY for the 
small segment of the market that has Leopard machines, few of the 
current posters will even be able to evaluate it.

I doubt you'd get much satisfaction asking about Access on a MS-SQL 
list either.

In addition, this list is not monitored by nor is it answered by staff 
from Filemaker Inc. Complaining about features not included in Bento 
here is like shouting down a well.  The most you can hope for is vague 
commiseration.

Why not do something useful. Become a Bento expert and start a Usenet 
group called comp.databases.bento.
