I have also run into that problem. I don't have a "public" page handy
right now to provide as an example,* but there have been several times
I've needed to fire up IE to print a multipage web page. When that happens
I've noticed that FF's Print Preview shows just one page, while the screen
shows several page. IE shows and can print them. Maybe this thread will be
kept alive long enough for me or someone to come across an example page
and post it for diagnosis. WinXp, FF2 and FF3b, etc.
======
* The one page that I know gives trouble is my bank's online account
activity listing for my personal bank account, I can't point others to
that one, obviously. But there have been public pages which display the
trouble, too.

I do not want to discourage you, but I was complaining about this three
years ago <SIGH>
