Just finished the weekly virus scan. This is my 1st firefox virus.
It was found in this folder
C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\rrhnb7b2.default\Cache
one of the 242 files in there had a html.ht malware.
I recently switched from IE7, because it was taking 10 minutes to open every
page, including those on open tabs.
Any ideas on how this slipped under my 24/7 trend scanner ?
I'd really not want to take and go back to ie7, but I can't recall any virus
going thru IE to it's cache.

What is that supposed to mean ?
Trend has been running 24/7 for the past 10 years.

search at trend micro. It's fairly serious to them.

That's probably not detected in IE, if I'm not mistaken. Were you
actively running internet security when loading the bad page, by the
way? That is, have you taken measures to protect Firefox by defining the
appropriate user preferences (refer to Tools menu, select Options)?
