| history.dat backed up anywhere? |

.... I kind of doubt it, but i just noticed that since Firefox crashed
two days ago I lost my entire history.dat file.
It's not backed up somewhere that I'm not aware of, is it?

As far as I know, the only thing that is backed up by FF, is the
bookmarks file.

Hi Chuck,
Did you try a System Restore? No guarantee a DAT file would be
included, but if you try it and it doesn't work, you can always reverse
it. SR has never worked when it was really needed anyway, and I don't
rely on it at all any longer. Regular backups are your best friend.
