Does anybody know if there will be a Vista patch released for Halo?

Haven't heard yet. Doesn't it play in Vista? I haven't tried it here yet.

Well, it plays perfectly, it's just, everytime I try to play it, it tells me it
might not play correctly, and then when I close it, Vista tells me Halo was
intermittently closed and tries to send it to the Vista problem reporting
thing... it's not the end of the world, but I'd like to know... I had seen a
patch on Bungie's site, but I wasn't able to download the patch.

The patch which was available was not Vista-related
(http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo/support.asp) but did you install in
compatibility mode for Windows XP? As far as I know, the Bungie guys are
pretty heads-down on Halo 2 currently and aren't devoting resources to patch
the original for PC at this time.

Gearbox developed Halo for the PC
