Apparently the reported wildly successful launch of the Wii does have a little
controvery--MSNBC is reporting "breaking news" that Nintendo has
issued a warning reminding gamers to use the strap on the controller.
Enthusiastic tennis players, boxers, and more are accidentally sending their
controllers like projectiles flying across the room.

I know I shouldn't have been but I couldn't stop laughing when I read that
I'd be a bit upset if I destroyed a several thousand dollar TV (well I'd have to
have a TV worth something more than about 200 bucks, /me looks at his aging Sony
68cm CRT)

Stuart, when we were IM'ing yesterday, I was IM'ing with Mike as well and he was
telling me about his getting cracked on the head with his wiimote.
Fortunately for him, I reminded him of his plasma/LCD.
If he does not take heed, I guess I would be sending him that gorgeous 6.5"
B&W CRT TV ($11.99 USD) I saw at RiteAid (drugstore here in the US)
yesterday!

The beast that is my tv
Bout 8 years old (maybe more) and it makes 360 a world of blury undefined
garbage....
