Take the Rocketplane to space

I wanted to find out more about this trip to the "ulimate vista" for
the winner of the Vanishing Point game, and I went out to read the Microsoft
Press release. There they have more info about the "how":

Temple will visit space in the Rocketplane XP, a four-seat, fighter-sized
vehicle fitted with a delta wing and a V-tail providing good flight
characteristics both subsonically and supersonically. The vehicle is powered by
turbojet engines and a rocket engine, allowing it to accelerate to speeds of
more than 3,500 feet per second (2,386 miles per hour) and reach altitudes in
excess of 330,000 feet (60 miles), providing the sensation of weightlessness for
three to four minutes. Rocketplane Limited is a subsidiary of Rocketplane
Kistler.

The Rocketplane site includes detailed info, as well as a photo of John
Herrington, Rocketplace Commander and former NASA astronaut (that explains why
he was showing up in the Vanishing Point photos from Vegas).

I want to go! Can we get a group discount for The Hive? :)

How pi$$ed-off am I about this?

The winner is from Sukramiento? Cowtown?

As a Los Angelino, that really, really hurts!

Furthermore, I couldn't even get a single clue right!

This hurts. Bad

Don't feel bad, John. You know those word scrambles in the newspaper? I freeze
like a deer in headlights. Really. :)
