entryfield/combobox

i now have a entryfield/combobox on a notebook, 1 on page 1, 1 on page 2, . i'm
just going to use generic names for now.  we have now made it so if you select a
name from the combobox it appears in the entryfield.  althought they are data
linked and data sourced,  page 1 and page 2 does not respond together and if you
add a new record, you have to exit the form and return to see it in the combobox
drop down list. i would also like it to choose a name and have the specific
record that goes along with it.
