Visual Dbase 5.7 Build Executable

I made minor changes to my .WFM application files and the changed program ran
successfully within Dbase. However, when I build a new executable file from the
new .WFO files, the resulting executable is exactly the same as the original
(unchanged old) executable file.
I get a readout message on the screen as follows:
"BUILD FROM C:\vdbase\DB2AA.AAD"
"ERASE C:\vdbase\DB2AA.AAD" This failure has not happened before.

The problem has been corrected, although I am not sure why. I have normally left
my computer in standby when not in use. I did do two things: (1) I closed down
and rebooted the computer, (2) I ran the Norton WinDoctor and let it repair some
problems it found.
