| IBConsole beta (8.0.0.50) install problem |

I have installed IBConsole as per Gelein's instructions on my Win2k
workstation (I currently have 8.0.0.27 installed). When I attempt to
start the new IBConsole, I get the following error message:-
Application Error : The exception unknown software exception
(0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c59bc81.

Simon,
I currently have no win2k machine around so I can't check it out if it
is related to win2k.
Try to extract the whole zipfile into a temporary directory and run

Tried that, new directory, extracted contents of zip into it (6 files) -
same error.

Are you sure it was runtime error 217, because that stands for typing

Update - I've tried this on another workstation with Win2kPro and I get
the same problem. - after the error I get a dialog with "RunTime error
