| New beta release for IBConsole available (8.1.0.262) |

The main reason for this release is a fix of a bug causing IBConsole to
crash when the settingsfile IBConsole.xml got corrupted. IBConsole will
now rename that file in that case and starts with default settings.
Further I reenabled the possibility of having more then one WISQL
window to the same database at the time. Users should be aware of the
fact that each WISQL window counts for a database connection.

Gelein,
If I attempt to run this on Win2000 Pro (all service packs, I get the
following error message on startup:-
"The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the
application at location 0x7c59bcb1"

Thanks for reporting Simon.
I forgot to test the latest beta releases on Win2k. It looks like
8.1.0.259 was the last release that would work on win2k. Right now I
have no idea why. It will be a hard job to find out which change makes

Simon,
It seemed to be devexpress again.
Got the latest version and now the problem is solved.
I refreshed the beta releases.
