Brent,
There have been no changes lately that could have change the behavior.
Does it occur when you add data or when you modify?
What are the update and delete settings for the fk?

When editing table data, error message is no longer displayed when eg
violate a fk (simply cannot save data).

Brent,
I still get those msgs with 8.1.0.266, so I have no idea where to look
for. What OS are you using? (don't think it make any difference, just
for sure).

Hi Gelein
Fk's tested are set "Restrict" on update and delete. Occurs when add
or
modify data.
I am <fairly sure> earlier versions of IBC used to spit back fk-violation
msgs. Also used to get msg if tried saving null in not-null field - now
cursor just jumps to that field (which is good - but maybe the msg would
also be useful).
ie All post errors were reported... (I think).

I have just confirmed that 8.1.0.256 reports fk violations and "field must
have a value" msgs, but 8.1.0.266 does not.
