Domino Users Connector

Domino Users Connector

I've been testing this connector out to use it for synchronizing Domino
and Active Directory. The examples on the TDI Users Group web site were
nice, but they stopped short of dealing with the more complicated issues
with Notes related to the Notes ID. I don't know of too many Domino
shops that simply create person docs for their users. There is always
that Notes ID issue to contend with.

One issue I have been trying to figure out is why the connector does not
make use of the Policy Documents in Domino? So, if I have a
registration policy on my Domino server specifying things like Notes ID
expiration and quota's, etc... is there a way to make the TDI solution
use that? And what about operations which require the ID file to be
updated such as in a user rename? Has anyone made TDI work to this

You are right, Charles. Policy adherence would be real
nice. In the meantime, you have to use the special attributes
shown in the Ref Guide, plus the three listed in this post:

Just the sort of thing a TDI User Group would use their
influence to get sorted out quickly. hint hint :)
