Hi Jeff,
Contact support (IBM-SERV) for help on getting the
fixpack installer working.
Note that for those adventurous users out there, you can
apply the fixpack manually (like I do). This is at your
own risk, but that said, it is very straightforward.
First, make sure TDI is not running and the System Store
is stopped (if you are running it in Networked mode). Just
use the Store > Manage System Stores panel and press the
Stop button.
1. I open the 6.1.1-TIV-TDI-FPxxxx.ZIP file with Winzip.
(FP3, 2 or 1)
2. Inside is a file called TDI_MAIN_IU.jar, open this.
3. Here you find TDI_CE_IU.jar and TDI_SERVER-IU.jar.
When you open these, they both contain a file called Files.zip
4. Unzip each Files.zip to your TDI installation directory.
These archives contain the relative path to the folder
where each fixpack file should go.
Afterwards when you select Help > About Tivoli Directory Integrator
you should see Version 6.1.1 / Build idi611_080312a (FP3)
Hope this helps,
-Eddie

Since FP3 has some possible issues,
where can we get FP2,
it is not available from the IBM site any more,
and we need to do new installation of TDI 6.1.1 at the customer,
so need FP2...
and of course (: I am not able to find it on my local machine...
Thanks, Boli

I am not saying the installer has issues, Boli.
Just that I am a command-line nerd and prefer
to go the lickety-split unzip route rather than
waiting for installer technology to do extensive
system checks before unzipping these same files
for me :)
Have you tried installing FP3? If you (and others)
are experiencing problems, please let L2 know so
we can make the necessary fixes/improvements.
I will see what we can do about getting the old
fixpack links back on the air.

Just installed FP3 on my local machine, no issues at all and it took a total
of about 15 minutes ( including download ), so not bad at all,
