Great news!!
Because of the pricing model, it has traditionally been difficult to
deploy TDI into non-identity scenarios. For those use-cases, customers
now can buy TDI GPE (General Purpose Edition) priced per CPU it's
deployed on. The only limitation is that you cannot use the TDI
components that are specifically designed for user-based repositories,
nor use it for () identity based integration..

The traditional pricing model will continue to apply to TDI Identity
Edition (IE)
This all comes together in version 6.1.2 (released April 4th). So either
you buy TDI 6.1.2 IE (for identity use cases) or TDI 6.1.2 GPE (for
everything else). The products are exactly the same, the difference is
in how you can use them.
