Hi
I have problem in trying to import users' information from Delimited
Text into the IDVault. When I placed the accounts.csv file in the
folder (c:\csvsample\input), the file did not change the extension to
.bak. Seem like the Publisher channel did not process the file. I get a
message from the remote loader "Delimited Text: Poll directory:
c:\csvsample\input is invalid". Would appreciate if anyone can tell me
what could have went wrong.
Thanks
Alan

Well my guess is that the file is not in the format the Delimited text
driver is expecting.
Are you using the delimiter that the drive is expecting?
Are the number of fields in the file the same number that driver is
expecting?
A level 3 trace from the driver side will be extremely useful in
figuring out why the driver did not like the file.

A more likely cause is a mismatch between the specified directory name
and the actual directory name. Check for transpositions, typo's, extra
whitespace, etc. Since you say you are using the remote loader, also
make sure the directory and file exist on the remote loader box, not the
eDir box.

Hi
Thanks for your help. The problem is because I did not create the
directory and file at the location where remote loader was installed.
Do you mind to explain why is tt so?
I read in the documentation on the installing of the Delimited Text
driver and configuration, it was mentioned that the folder
(c:\csvsample\input or c:\csvsample\output) should create manually on
our local file system.
Thanks
Alan

The files need to be on the system that is running the driver. If you
didn't intend on putting the files on the remote loader system, why are
you using the remote loader instead of running the driver locally?
