1. WHAT'S NEW

First of all, we have released 2 versions - IBFirstAID for InterBase and
FBFirstAID for Firebird databases due to serious differences in
InterBase and Firebird internal structures.
Diagnostician version supports both InterBase and Firebird, but
repairing functions are too different and now they are divided in 2
separate products.

Overall list of functions for 2.0:

- Firebird 2.0.x support
- InterBase 7.5.x-2007 support (including record formats)
- Analysis and estimation of automatic repair ability
- Command line mode (diagnostics only)
- Improved algorithm for fixing corrupted record backversions and fragments
- Ability to fix InterBase 7.5. "Stack overflow error" at database
opening
- Improved algorithm for fixing BLOB errors
- Database opening, checking and repairing become faster
- Improved user interface and usability

2. IMPORTANT! LICENSE CHANGES

We know that many IBFirstAID users did not know that it's prohibited to
use IBFirstAID Ambulance for repairing third party databases (both paid
and free).
If you need to fix your customers' databases Site License was required.
Many people was confused with "Ambulance" and "Site License"
terms,
and we decided to change license names to "Personal" and
"Site/Tech
Support", and also explicitly added appropriate restriction for Personal
into the License.
So, for fixing customers' database you need to buy IBFirstAID Site/Tech
Support license, with regular price EUR 699/USD 799. Our existing
customers has special offer for upgrading from Personal to Site/Tech
Support.
