| rare hyperthreading prob on interbase 7.5.1 |

i have hyperthreading probs with ibconfig.
i'm running with Mobile Intel Pentium4 3.2Ghz (538) with HT
256 on board RAM and 512, upgrade.
i had fresh install of windows xp home/SP2 and a fresh install of interbase
7.5.1
applications developed from delphi 7 at the same time i'm using interbase 7.5.1
together with BDE on my apps. with BDE, i can connect to databases, and in
ibconsole, i can connect databases and even edit data, run scripts. but my apps
don't seem to work at first.
then i tweaked the ibconfig to enable hyperthreading and MAX_THREADS to 1, all
my apps created from delphi7 worked fine.
even after a few computer shutdowns and hibernation.
then one day, all my apps failed to run. i tried all possible reconfiguring
ibconfig, my apps don't run anymore.
i checked my ibconfig, nothing has changed.
so i tried cpu affinity options, restart PC, no effect
ANY_LOCK MEM SIZE, V4_LOCKMEMSIZE, all to no effect.
every alteration saved in the config,i restart my pc, to be sure.
tried even in my bios to disable the HT, and reconfig ibconfig to disable HT,
still to no effect.
what might be wrong here?

If IBConsole works then the problem is likely in your application. But
it's hard to say for sure without knowing the exact nature of the
problem. What do you mean by "my apps failed to run?" What happens
when
you try? Please be precise.
