Probably, but Windows 2003 didn't exist when InterBase 6 was released,
so it is not tested.

It will run, but there are issues:
1) If the server is multiprocessor (most likely) then you will need to pin
IB6 to a single processor every time it starts using a utility IB_Affinity
(search the web). Otherwise it will thrash beack and forth among the
processors.
2) You will need to shut off Windows Restore for the drive that contains
your databases, or else Windows will attempt to back it up everytime it is
written to.
3) Connection times may be slower and get slower with more connections due
to TCP/IP issues
IB6 (almost 10 years old now) simply cannot be recommended any longer (and
for quite some time now), it just cannot cope well with newer processors and
O/Ses. If you are dealing with any real volume of data and/or concurrent
users, it is well worth the upgrade to a new version of InterBase.

I have a client that insists on using redundant software and wants to
continue to use IB 6. He now has a new server with OS Windows 2003 Small
Business Server. Will IB 6 run on this OS?
TIA
