| Installing IB 7.5 - overlapped IO error on starting! |

I've installed IB 7.5 after removing the trial version and I can't start the
server. It says "Overlapped I/O operation" and fails to start.
I've uninstalled it and re-installed it once but I'm loath to do that again as
I'm sure the number of times I'm allowed to install it is limited and I don't
want to run out of allowable installs.
This is on a 4-way hyperthreaded Win 2003 server.

What messages appear in the interbase.log file when you try to start
the IB server service?

I'm assuming you are running as a service. Try running as an
application. Anything different?
