| IE Encounters Unexpected Problem and Closes ... |

Hello,
I have Windows XP Professional. My ISP is Time Warner Cable. I have IE
version 6.
I have two separate problems.
1. One began a couple of months ago and I have not been able to resolve it.
I think it began when I uninstalled a program. What happens is that when I
close IE, I get an error message that says, "Instruction at
"0x62304390"
referenced memory could not be read. It then says, "OK to terminate the
program?" I click OK, the message box closes, and there are no further
problems until I close IE the next time. How can I find out what is causing
this problem?
2. The second problem could be coincidental with my recent
download/installation of Skype; or it could be a result of a series of recent
automatic Windows updates. I cannot tell which. This problem happens whey I
try to open IE. I get the error that says IT has encountered an unexpected
problem and needs to close. Sometimes I have to try opening IE several times
before the error message stops and my RoadRunner home page loads.
Many thanks,
Rose
