Hello,
When I got o Hotmail, msn, and other site, I get this message:
The current Web page is trying to open a site in your Trusted
sites list. Do you want to allow this?
Current site: http://bylO7w.baylO7.mail.live.com
Trusted site: about:blank
I get barraged with it in Hotmail when I enter or try to refresh my mailbox.
Why am I getting a message asking me if I want open a site in my Trusted
sites list? I thoiught the purpose of the list is that they are trusted.
How can I suppress this message? Thank you and God Bless,
Mark A. Sam

Sounds like spyware.
Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these
Web pages.
Help with malware:
All MS-MVP Sites.
Consider this: Whenever a new error condition appears on your computer, it
is almost certain that there was some change to the computer soon before the
problem began.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom
and see
what else is
being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure of.

Bob,
I started to follow the instructions on the first link, last night, but the
Administrator here locked users out from being able to delete temp files, so
I emailed him to allow me. In the meantime, I noticed a privacy report icon
on the bottom of my web brower where one of my own websites was loaded. It
prompted me to check my internet options and I discovered that About: blank
was listed as a restricted page. I don't know how that happened, but I
removed it and it resolved the issue. I am chaulking it off as another of
a myriad of goofey things that occur from time to time. I just count it as
one of the "trials" that James (1:2) talks about in the Bible. ;)
God Bless,
Mark
