Simply delete C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS <=this file (or rename
it; e.g., HOSTS.OLD) and Reboot.

The problem was the Hosts File. I deleted it and now IE7 works fine. I
figured that was the solution but wasn't sure if it was safe to do so.

YW. I've used Mike Burgess' custom hosts file in IE6 and IE7 for several
years now and have not experienced such issues, Mark. YMMV.
