2006 install with 2005

Hello,
I'll probably install JB2006 Developer on a PC where I already have
JB 2005 Foundation installed.

Should I uninstall 2005 before installing 2006?

Sorry I forgot: I'm on Windows XP home.

No need to uninstall.  Many developers have multiple
versions of JBuilder installed and running on their
systems.  At one time, I had versions 4 - 10, 2005, 2006
on my Windows development system, and versions 6 - 10, 2005, 2006
on my OS X machine.

Like Paul said, no need to uninstall..  But *do not* install JBuilder 2006
*over* your JBuilder 2005 installation.  The end result will be disastrous.

I'd advise just installing JBuilder 2006 to a new directory.  This is
the way I do it on both Windows and OS X; starting at

/Developer/Applications/Borland/

install the respective versions to

   JBuilder2005/

   JBuilder2006/


Of course, on Windows, there's a drive letter to start
the path.
