Backlevel to the previous version... I reported the issue of not all
files (and in some cases directories) not showing when it was first
released but as the forums are no longer available in the betazone
there is no way you would know that now. At this point it would
probably be a good idea to open a support request for that as it is no
longer visible to the author either.

NTFS.IFS 2.017 (eCs Betazone) problems

Hello, I am currently trying to use the new betaversion of the NTFS.IFS
driver from the ECS betazone. Its behaving quite strangely, its accessing
my NFTS volume and showing all the directories but it wont show the files
in most of the directories. I did checkdisk/defrag on my NTFS volume in
windows 2000 so the filesystem is clean. Any ideas? Also, the NTFS.IFS
driver seems to be causing me a trap000e error now :C

Thanks :) I backleveled and removed the ODIN win32k.sys string from my
config.sys and no more issues. I am downloading ECS 2.0 Beta3a right now,
I cant wait! Thanks for helping me out! I will keep away from the new
NTFS.IFS no matter what my upgrade instincts may say.

NTFS.IFS is no longer installed with eCS 2.0 beta 3 although it is
hidden on the installation disk somewhere. So hold on to you working
version to use with eCS 2.0.

After inquiring at the Yahoo EComstation group and after making a few
remarks, one certain individual labeled me a winer.

David:

Do you know where the NTFS.IFS can be located on eCS2b3? Or, is the older
(more reliable) version located somewhere else? I would like to find it
for use both on my desktop and laptop.

TIA -- Clyde
