At this point you won't find anything that you can directly transfer all
your media and logic to anything that's compatible with Flash, Captivate,
Flex, etc (or Silverlight either). You can use export media to pull out the
graphics and sound, but you'll need to bring those into your tool of choice
and rework your lessons unfortunately.
FWIW - All of my clients have so far worked through any issues with AW and
IE and we've had a few doing tests on the IE8 beta. It's all still working.

This probably has been asked - I have Authorware projects that need content
updates- is there a program that I can use to convert existing Authorware
projects to - can I publish to some format that can be input by Flash or
something like that?

Today, tomorrow, sure. Next six months, yes I believe they'll continue to
work. We can't assume they'll continue to work forever though :-( We're all
looking for the next solution. I know people looking at Flex and Flash
separately and together. A lot of folks are starting to work with
Captivate... mostly for software training but some are doing soft-skills as
well. Each and every one of these options brings in its own set of
challenges so while I don't see an *immediate* need to replace the content
right away, you'll need time to develop your replacement.

You need to drop your published AW 7 content into an iFrame for most LMSs
due to changes in the way Internet Explorer 7 on XP and Vista handles
certain things.

I do this all the time, with no issues. You should be able to find posts in
the archive that give more detail about this.

I can give you a hand off-list tweaking the export settings if you need.
