They are probably in different forms. Do you see many red dashed
outlines on your page? There should be only 1 large red dashed outline
enclosing the entire form.

Hi I am using a form in my web page and I have a submit and reset button. The
reset button is et to the value reset but it does not clear the fields on my
form.

Remove the reset button completely from the form. There is no good reason to
have it and it will cause problems for your users. When is the last time anyone
actually used a reset button on purpose?
