Using VS 2005 WAP and Dreamweaver on Same Project

Hello all,

I work in a programming department that is responsible for all of our Web
applications. We currently use VS 2005 for most of our Web application
projects. We are in the process of creating a new Web site that we would like
to create as a Web application project. The problem is that our Marketing
department would like to be able to control / write the content that does on
each page.

Is is possible for my department, as programmers, to create the site in VS 2005
(or VS 2008) and then allow our Marketing department to use Dreamweaver to edit
the content pages. My department would create the master page(s) and the empty
content pages with VS. Can we limit the Dreamweaver use by our marketing
department to just editing of content pages (they don't want VS and not sure I
want them to have it either)?

I am familiar with Dreamweaver, I don't know much about how Dreamweaver works
with .Net applications. Can you actually compile and deploy .Net applications
in Dreamweaver?

Thanks,

AFAIK DW does not provide much in ASP.NET space. Defintely no compilation or
code intellisense and it does not activate smart tasks or any control designers
provided by .NET. You do can edit page layout though, VS does not put anything
special in the markup.
