dropdown menu - extra pixels
Thu, 1 May 2008 21:50:16 +0000
Hello all,
i created a pretty simple dropdown menu in Fireworks. When i export the html
and slices, i notice that Fireworks puts an extra 1 pixel high row (spacer.gif)

across my entire menu (1 spacer for each button)

Also, Fireworks includes a 1 pixel column on the right end of the images.

I have checked all my image sizes and my canvas size and i can't understand
why this is happening.

 Any help would be appreciated.

 Thank you very much!
 Steve

OK - i found the answer:

When you export the menu to html code there is an options button.

Under that options button there is a table tab which has a choice of
"space
with". I had chosen (or maybe Fireworks defaults to?) "1-pixel
transparent
spacer"

When i changed the choice to "single table - no spacers" the spacers

disappeared - problem solved.
