Controlling a flash movie in an html page

Controlling a flash movie in an html page

I have a basic slide show built that fades from one picture to the next that
will be on every page of a website. The client wants the slide show to start on

specific slides depending on which page you are on in the site. Is there a way
for either flash to check what page the site is on or in code on the html page
to tell flash what frame to go to depeding on what page you are on?

Another side note If there is a persistent movie on a website is there a way
to have it not reload to frame 0 when going to a new page?

Thanks for all help and suggestions in advance,

 Chris Goodiel

I tired using that example that from the post you linked but it does not work
for me. It just loads the movie at frame 1 on every page.

Any other suggestions. I used the exact code from the example but changed the
frame to match the one I needed.
