Using videos for flash project

Hi! I'm working on a flash project for my photoshop/flash class, and one of the

requirements for our project is to pick an issue that is relevant to today's 
world. I chose Asian American-I basically want to show how we are not all the 
same and that Chinese and Korean people are indeed different from one another. 
I'm terrible with flash so I want to try and use the least amount of flash 
possible.. but what I was thinking for my project was to interview a few of my 
friends in their language and use it in my flash. However, would it be possible

for me to edit the video so that it looks artsy/cartoonish like a flash video, 
or would i have to sit and draw my friend and then input sound, etc.?
