Help - Youtube vidoes....

Plse help.
I've been trying various things to try to get youtube video onto my flash
website, but with no success.
What do I do in Flash with the youtube URL and EMBED code, to get the youtube
video to show up...?

The only thing I manage to get done is...
 (1) Movieclip holder created with instance name and a separate button linked
to it via behaviours panel and then I put part of the embed code in.
 (2) Then when I test it......via the button - a youtube video comes up but
does not reside in the movie clip area and has NO controls

 Any advice?
 Many thanks in advance....

Can you provide the code that you use for this? Also indicate what version of
actionscript you are trying to use.

I am not familiar with YouTube, but my first thought is that you don't get
controls from the video you import, you have to create your own in the
movieclip you are loading it into.

There's a web site called www.pro-jump.co.uk
They have youtube videos & I was trying to simulate this somehow without
using
too much actionscript.... still investigating

have a look at the web site and let me know if you have any ideas....

Don't know if you're on a Mac or PC, but if it's a Mac, then you could save the

YouTube video as a standalone file which may give you more flexibility? I use
TubeTV and it works excellently - as well as being free!
