I haven't scoured the news articles here but has this group become one
shared amongst these like services? I'm just beginning to delve into Virtual
Earth and looking for VE peer resources.

Hi,
I think there is a web-based group for VE. However, you may be able to get
some questions/answers here.

I would think it's similar on mapforums.com, there is a section for it thats
been quiet for a long time, but there is more and more
discussion lately about the Virtual Earth platform as it takes off...

Hi Eric,
I dislike web forums enough to ignore most of them.
I really do like Virtual Earth, though. I just finished a project for a
client, where I wrapped VE in an ActiveX control. so that they could use it
instead of the MapPoint AX control in an existing application, and enable
aerial 2D views. Rather cool.

I prefer newsgroups myself as they are fast to access and easy to use but
I'll try to keep an eye on mapforums to see if things pick up.
Anyway, it sure is difficult remaining with Microsoft these days when
practically everything that now matters is at least a year behind you know
who and to make matters worse on way or another they have been in the local
TV news and newspaper every day for the past week as the public is being
educated about mapping via the web.
