newby: database question
Sun, 6 Apr 2008 13:47:41 -0400
I'm considering MapPoint for my business.

Does the database come with the zip codes associated with the
communities/counties/state?

Thanks

thanks Gilles, that was what I needed to know. I will postpone this
investment for a while longer. I need to get a list of postal codes within
the counties included in my territory. I'm looking for an easy way to
compile the list without having to do it manually.

Hmm, not sure what you are after - while MapPoint includes a database, it is
not directly accessible for queries. You can use it indirectly e.g. via a
FindAddress call, but there is no direct way to e.g. get a list of all zip
codes a given state comprises.
