Books and/or Training Manuals

Books and/or Training Manuals
Fri, 11 Apr 2008 16:38:37 -060
I've been asked to teach MapPoint. Although I've been using MapPoint
personally for many years, I've never taught it. I'm having trouble finding
materials. Except for the Dummy's book which is a couple of versions old, I
can't find a single book. The company I get my other training manuals
doesn't have anything. I've contacted some of the companies doing MapPoint
training and they aren't interested in selling their materials.

I hate making my own training materials.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks much.

Gilles,

Thanks for your reply. I did know about the .NET book. It sounds more like a
programming book than a how-to-use-the-interface book. Maybe there's a
market for another book???

I'm not aware of any training materials, but there's another book:
"Programming MapPoint .NET" by Chandu Thota.

The "For dummies" book also dedicates quite a few pages to
programming - honestly, this is where it gets involved / interesting.
The MapPoint UI - at least the part it has in common with S&T - is not
exactly difficult to use / rocket science?
