Hi,
I created a custom agent. It has 5 animations. Show, Hide,Blink, Announce
and Restpose.
I wanted the agent to read a para when I use Announce animation or when it
is in restpose.
Problem: When I play the "announce" animation and ask the agent to
read a
para of about 60-70 characters, the mouth movement stops after 30-40
characters. The agent goes to restpose and doesnot move mouth anymore
More Info on my custom agent: The 3 animations, show, hide, blink are
straight forward with no branching or anything. But Blink has Idle states 1
and 2.
Animation – Announce: This has 7 frames. 7th frame is a dummy blank frame
with zero time duration. The animation Uses exit branching. Frame 6 has mouth
overlays. Exits after Stop to frame 6, frame 6 to 5, and 5 to 4 , and 4 to 3
and frame 3 to 2, and 2 to 1 and frame 1 to 7.
Announce is NOT assigned to speaking state.
Animation – RestPose: This has one image with mouth overlays and is assigned
to Speaking state.
Why does my agent stop reading the sentence and goes to a different
animation in the middle and what should I do to solve this problem.
Thanks
Gurry

You probably did not set up the frames correctly.

Offhand, I do not see anything wrong with that. Can you post the actual
character file?
