IIFP install error

Hello,

I am trying to install IIFP SP2.
My Scenario looks like this:
I have a machine with AD on which I would like to install IIFP.
My sql server is an SQL Express on a remote computer which is not in the 
domain where the IIFP resides.

I get an installation error stating that IIFP requires a running version of 
SQL2000 Sp3 or later.

IIFP SP2 should support SQL 2005.... 

What can be the problem?

Needs to be SQL 2000 or 2005 Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition, or 
Developer Edition
