Hello.
We have a problem trying to upload the MIIS config from DEV to QA.
When attempting to upload the MIIS service config onto QA, we receive the
following:
Starting server configuration import processing ...
File header validation starting...
File header validation successfully completed.
Reading import files starting...
Located a management agent configuration file.
Located a management agent configuration file.
Located a management agent configuration file.
Located the metaverse configuration file.
Reading import files complete.
Retrieving the existing metaverse configuration.
Metaverse configuration file version checking starting...
Metaverse configuration file version checking successfully completed.
Comparing the list of management agents starting...
Located modified management agent : 'AD MA'.
Located modified management agent : 'SAPFile MA'.
Located new management agent : 'AVAYAFile MA'.
Existing server configuration contains a management agent missing from the
file : 'AVAYAFile MA'.
Comparing the list of management agents FAILED.
Server configuration import FAILED.
I was also tying to update the AVAYAFile MA individually exporting its
config from DEV and importing to QA in an attempt to get round this issue.
However, I received the following:
Update management agent from file starting...
Reading the import configuration from file.
Constructing the new Import Attribute Flow Rules.
An error was encountered while trying to update the metaverse configurations.
The import attribute flow rules XML defines an invalid/incomplete rule.
Import attribute flow rules update FAILED.
Update management agent from file FAILED.
In fact, there have been some Metaverse configuration changes in DEV as
compared to what we currently have in QA. But as far as I understand, these
changes should also be migrated as a part of MIIS config export/import... or
it may impact the MIIS config import/export process?
DEV as well as QA MIIS configs contain all three management agents mentioned.
Could you please advise what the root cause of the problem might be.
Thank you very much in advance.
