HAve a look in Eventlog on the WSUS. There must be an error.

I have a frustrating problem in my new WSUS 3 server. All the updates are 
either saying "The files for this update failed to download. The update can

be approved but will not be available to computers until the download is 
complete" or "This update cannot be approved for installation because
the 
Microsoft Software License Terms are still downloading." There isn't any 
error for WSUS in the event log. Using manual update through IE7 has no 
problem. I used to have a WSUS 3 server which was working fine but because 
it is hosted on a heavy file server, I decided to decommissioned the WSUS 
from the server and install a new one on a dedicated server. The new server 
has SQL Server 2005 which is used by Forefront Management Console. Since it 
has the SQL Server 2005, my WSUS 3 on this server uses the SQL Server 2005 
as database, but since that day, the clients are no longer able to update, 
though if I run Microsoft updates on any one of them manually through IE7, 
there is no problem. In fact all the updates were never downloaded, as can 
be seen in the display of the message "The files for this update failed to

download. The update can be approved but will not be available to computers 
until the download is complete." Our network doesn't use any proxy server,

the permssion on the WSUS content folder is also correct. 

Sorry, no error, the only warning I have is event id 10021, that says "The

catalog was last synchronized successfully 1 or more days ago." Most often
i 
got the event 10000 that says "WSUS is working correctly".

I can't believe that. Are Error messages on the welcome page in wsus?
