| The server is failing to download some updates |

Could someone please help. I have been battling with this problem for well
over a week now. I am currently using WSUS 3.0 SP1.
First of all let me tell you about our setup. We have a wsus server that is
connected to the network and then the other one that is having problems is on
a disconnected network and the updates have to be copied, exported, and
imported. I do all that. I have tried copying the data again exporting and
importing again, I have tried restarting BITS, tried the wsusutil reset
command and to no avail I still end up with the same result. The difficult
part is I do not even know which update it is failing to download there is no
indication in the event log nor windowsupdate.log that tells me which update
is failing. I have gone to drastic measures of actually rebuilding the server
from OS up and I still have the problem. Any other ideas?

Try this: WsusDebugTool.exe /Tool:SetForegroundDownload
